About OMGCG
Where ancient power meets modern art.
A trading card game born from a passion for art, mythology, and the printed page.
The Story
Born from a passion for card games and a desire to create the most fun playing experience, the Oh My God Card Game reimagines the genre through divine power and art evolution. Led by Shiva — the eternal protagonist who incarnates as avatars across sets — every collection explores a new cultural world, from ancient pantheons to the warriors of feudal Japan.

I was born to a Hindu mother and a Jewish father, and for much of my life I navigated the beautiful tension of growing up between two rich traditions. My parents never imposed any single belief on me — instead, they encouraged me to learn, observe, and form my own understanding of the world. That spirit of openness is at the heart of everything I create.
My father is a religions professor, my mother is a dentist, and my brother is a musician and my greatest creative critic. Growing up, I admired the way my mother helped people smile in our community, and I chose to follow in her footsteps — becoming a dentist myself. But my passion for creating never left me. I studied studio art as an undergraduate with a focus in screen printing and a minor in Japanese woodblock printing art history, and I've been fascinated with the history and craft of printing ever since.
I believe trading cards are a modern manifestation of Japanese woodblock printing — a way to eternalize artists' work and their interpretations of the beings and cultures that have shaped humanity across time. This game is my tribute to modern artists and a bridge between ancient craft and contemporary play.
Shiva is the deity my mother's family worshipped, and I was raised surrounded by his imagery and inspiration. It was during a visit to a Hindu temple celebrating my mom's birthday that my brother came up with the idea to print cards featuring Hindu deities. That spark became this game — a life's work of studying art, honoring culture, and creating something I can share with the people I love.
No single perspective is the right way, but drawing inspiration from many is a great way to find love and admiration. My hope is that players discover they can build powerful strategies by mixing different components — and have a truly fun time with the people they care about. My wife is my favorite person to play games with, and I hope one day we can play these games together with our children.
